I created this leather lace snowflake costume necklace with the opulence of Rococo architecture and a Winter masquerade ball in mind. I wanted to capture that sense of mystery and beauty for the wearer while still making it affordable so I came up with this versatile ornate floral scrolls design. It's extravagant enough to go with the finest ball gown but comfortable enough to wear all day and night with a simple cocktail dress or collared shirt. It would even be ideal as a stunning bridal statement piece.
Made from laser cut white leather, the neckpiece has the durability and comfort of leather while looking and feeling as delicate, elegant and lightweight as lace. Because the leather is flexible it moulds to any chest and neck and feels soft on the skin.
The leather is suspended from the neck with an adjustable white ribbon which threads through brass eyelets.
The laser cut leather measures 17 cm x 15 cm. Please note that while the leather will withstand reasonable wear, stretching is not recommended.
